Africa ASAP’s airships enable day and night early detection of and rapid response to destructive and illegal forms of land use, negative human-wildlife interactions, fire outbreaks, and other threats to human communities, animals, and plant life.

Africa ASAP harnesses airship, solar, fuel cell, and communication technologies to provide an elegant, cost-effective means of achieving real-time monitoring at vast and often remote landscape scales.

Africa ASAP was created in 2013 by a small group of people passionate about protecting biodiversity in the most endangered places on earth.

Help us build our first airship. We have completed our proof of concept, designed the airship's specifications, and determined our first mission.
